The Infinito CV Disc, with its re-designed frame shape, has been developed with endurance-specific geometry and thru-axle rear dropouts for optimum integration with disc brakes. Longer chainstays help smooth the ride, and a taller aero headtube gives the rider a low-stress neck position, enhanced by Countervail's vibration canceling capacity. The specific CV tuning process reduces the rider's muscle fatigue and increases control for better overall performance, especially on bumpy roads and cobblestone sections. The new Infinito CV Disc has been engineered to be also more aero by using a new integrated-look carbon seat post. Like Bianchi's first-generation model, the new Infinito CV Disc is engineered with the revolutionary Bianchi CV System, using patented Countervail carbon material, to cancel road vibrations. WHAT IS COUNTERVAIL? The key technology Countervail is a carbon composite-material system that combines patented structural carbon with viscoelastic resin. Bianchi collaborated with Materials Sciences Corporation to develop our innovative and exclusive use of the MSC's patented Countervail integrated vibration canceling system for cycling. Countervail cancels 80% of vibrations while increasing the stiffness and strength of our carbon frames and forks. PROVEN IN NASA AEROSPACE OPERATIONS Traditional passive damping in frames using superficial rubber inserts and isolators are marginally effective compared to the integrated carbon Countervail system developed by Bianchi for cycling and proven in the extreme conditions of NASA aerospace operations. The Infinito CV Disc frame and fork feature fully-integrated Flat Mount Disc brakes, delivering uniform power, increased efficiency, and precise modulation for strong predictable braking, in any weather conditions. Compatible with 140 or 160mm rotors. Cables for brakes and drivetrain are all internally routed.
