Bike Fitting

Bishop's Has partnered with Shimano's Bikefitting.com to help you find the right size bicycle or to help you be more comfortable on your current Bicycle.  Call us and schedule a fit session.

ESSENTIAL FIT SERVICE

Our Fit Specialist will determine your fit coordinates, and adjust your new or current bike to match your specific bio-mechanical needs. A session with our fit specialists will identify the optimal riding position for you to help avoid injury and improve your overall comfort. The correct position will vary from person to person, depending on factors like age, style of riding, and physical attributes like flexibility.  Our fit specialist will adjust the stock components the bike comes with to the best possible position, or recommend replacement components to achieve your performance/comfort goals.

During the Basic Sizing / Fit service includes

  • Basic interview about your goals, injuries, riding history and intended use for the bike
  • Pedal/cleat alignment includes Shims and Wedges as Needed
  • Saddle height adjustment
  • Saddle fore and aft adjustment
  • Handlebar adjustments
  • Stem adjustments
  • Brake lever adjustments
  • Measure and adjust handlebar width
  • Printed Fit Report

We may recommend changing a stock component.  If this happens our standard labor prices apply.

$150.00

What do you need to bring to your fit appointment?

  • Cycling clothing — you will get the most accurate fit if you are wearing clothes that you normally wear on the bike.
  • Cycling shoes
  • Your bicycle
  • Optional — any saddles, seat posts, stems, etc., you have for your bike that you have or have wanted to try out. Do not feel obligated to bring these items as we will have all of the equipment you will possibly need if we find that you need a different size-length-angle-component.

If the Shoe Fits

For maximum power transfer on the road or trail and for exceptional comfort on a spin bike, we recommend clipless cycling shoes and pedals. With stiffer soles and the ability to click into and out of your pedal system easily, cycling shoes make your ride and your workout more efficient, more effective, and more comfortable. Never get stuck in a toe cage again!
